A safer way to courier cinema equipment for inspection

A packing and documentation checklist for client-arranged cinema equipment transport.

01

Confirm before sending

Speak with OptiServ first. Confirm the item, intake timing, sender details and what should be included.

02

Remove avoidable loose items

Detach accessories that are not required for diagnosis. Protect body caps and secure every necessary component separately so items cannot strike one another.

03

Use layered protection

Use a suitable hard case or strong double-wall box, non-abrasive wrapping, firm cushioning and enough separation from every outer wall.

04

Document condition and packing

Photograph the equipment, serial number, included accessories, each packing layer and the closed package before handover.

05

Choose shipping and insurance

Courier selection, packing, insurance and transit risk remain the client’s responsibility. Use tracking and cover appropriate to the equipment value.

General information only. Equipment condition and service requirements must be assessed individually.
