Service terms

Clear terms before technical work begins.

These general principles support the service process. The approved estimate and job-specific terms govern the exact work.

Effective 7 September 2026

01

Inspection and estimates

Initial information is provisional. The service scope, parts requirement, price and estimated timing are confirmed after physical inspection. Chargeable work begins only after the customer approves the written estimate or documented revision.

02

Turnaround

Any timing discussed before inspection is indicative. Completion depends on condition, approved scope, parts availability, testing and workload. A committed timeline is confirmed only when the job can be assessed properly.

03

Courier and transit

Clients arranging a courier remain responsible for carrier selection, secure packing, insurance, declared value and transit risk in both directions. OptiServ should be contacted before equipment is sent.

04

On-location work

Availability, service scope, travel, accommodation, local transport and related expenses are confirmed separately. Urgent or outside-hours support is not guaranteed until expressly accepted.

05

Parts and third-party work

Replacement parts may be new, used, sourced or client-supplied only by agreement. Availability and suitability can affect feasibility. Any external specialist work will be discussed before it is commissioned.

06

Documentation and calibration language

Where relevant, OptiServ may provide intake records, findings, estimates, work reports and test results. Calibration-related work is documented through an OptiServ service report only; no accredited or manufacturer certificate is implied.

07

Warranty

Any warranty applies only when stated for the specific job on the estimate, invoice or service record. It does not cover unrelated faults, impact, contamination, misuse, transport damage, normal wear or intervention by others.

08

Payment and collection

Accepted methods may include UPI, bank transfer and cash. Payment timing is stated on the estimate or invoice. Equipment release, storage and uncollected-item arrangements may be specified for the individual job.

09

Independent status

OptiServ is an independent specialist and does not claim manufacturer authorisation or affiliation. Brand names are used only to identify equipment experience or the item being serviced.

These terms should be reviewed for local legal and tax compliance before public launch. Job-specific documents may add or replace terms where clearly stated.
