How to prepare cinema equipment for a service intake
A practical service-intake checklist for cinema lenses, cameras and production equipment.
Describe the symptom
Record what happened, when it began, whether it is repeatable, and any conditions that make it better or worse. A short, factual description is more useful than guessing at the cause.
Identify the equipment
Share the brand, exact model and serial number. List the accessories, mounts, cables or power supplies included with the item.
Show useful evidence
Take clear photographs of the overall condition and close views of the concern. Short videos can be helpful for intermittent mechanical, display or startup behaviour.
State the deadline honestly
Provide the required completion date and any confirmed production date. Turnaround can only be agreed after inspection, but early context helps planning.
Document handover
At appointment or before courier collection, photograph the equipment and accessories. Keep copies of packing and shipment records.
General information only. Equipment condition and service requirements must be assessed individually.
